Dive Deep Magazine is an oceanography magazine that has a main goal of educating people on the world's oceans and the wild life and ecosystems that reside within them. It offers monthly issues that focus on a new topic each month. For this particular month's issue, the leading story focuses on the jellyfish found in the Pacific Northwest. The other featured articles are on deep sea creatures and ways to protect the world's oceans.

For this project's design I wanted to create a simple yet captivating magazine cover and spread that complimented each other. The visual voice I was trying to capture was simplistic and dark, to resemble the same aesthetic as the deep sea.
The purpose of this project was to create an aesthetically pleasing and professional looking magazine cover and two-page spread focused on jellyfish. The designs are meant to be simplistic but still visually interesting enough to draw people in and keep their attention without being too overwhelming or distracting.
